How to complete the Warzone Area 99 easter egg

Before turning your attention to Verdansk, there is still some unresolved business in Area 99. Here is everything you need to know about completing the easter egg.

Raven Software outlined what fans can expect from Warzone Season 3 and the Verdansk remake. It’s been over two years since the last new traditional battle royale map, so fans are ready to put all of their time into Verdansk when it comes out.

But before moving on entirely from Area 99, the most recent Call of Duty Podcast revealed that there is an easter egg on the Resurgence map. Let’s jump right into how you can complete it.

Area 99 easter egg explained

Here are the steps to complete the Area 99 easter egg. Since the Mannequin spawn locations are random, these images only show a few possible spots.

1. Land at Mannequin Assembly POI
2. Shoot the heads off 12 fully clothed Mannequins (Spawn in random locations around the area)
3. You will hear a sound after shooting the last mannequin (Back out and reset if you don’t hear the sound)
4. Go to Reactor and steal the credentials off two dead bodies (There are two bodies so you need at least one friend to help you out)
5. Head to the control panel located in the Bunker
6. Simultaneously launch the nukes at the same time as your partner
7. Sit back as nukes explode outside of the map and end the match

Since Area 99 is such a fast-paced, frantic map, I recommend completing this easter egg with a complete squad of four. You need at least one teammate to launch the nukes with, but it also helps to have more squad members so you can shoot all of the mannequins before the circle closes or you get taken out by another squad.
